In the event there is a need to cancel
Religious Education classes due to inclement weather, or any other emergency, the following procedures will take place:
For
Sunday Morning Classes ***
Once the decision has been made to cancel classes, a posting
will appear on both the Home Page and the Emergency Info Page on this web site either Saturday evening or early Sunday morning.
A PHONE CHAIN WILL NO LONGER BE IMPLEMENTED SINCE OUR FORM OF COMMUNICATION IS NOW THROUGH INTERNET/EMAIL/WEBSITE AND DUE
TO A LACK OF PARENT VOLUNTEERS TO COVER ALL CLASSES.
For Tuesday Evening Classes ***
If the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Public School District has closed schools due to inclement weather, then Religious
Education classes are automatically cancelled. ANY OTHER NEED TO CANCEL CLASSES WILL BE DONE THROUGH BOTH THE HOME PAGE
AND EMERGENCY INFO PAGE OF THIS WEB SITE NO LATER THAN 3:00PM THE DAY OF THE SCHEDULED CLASS.
SUNDAY EVENING
JUNIOR HIGH PROGRAM ***
Notification of class cancellation will be done through this
page only on the Religious Education website.
*** IN ALL CASES, PARENTAL DISCRETION SHOULD BE USED,
WITH SAFETY AS A PRIORITY.
