As you listen again to the familiar story of the man being lowered through the roof, what words or phrases strike you?  What part of this story do you find amazing?

When have you experienced forgiveness from God or others?  What does forgiveness feel like to you?

What powerful signs have you seen that God forgives us and heals us?

 

 

  

           

                                                      ACTIVITIES OF THE WEEK

                               

                         Choose one of the following activities as a way to further reflect on the Word of God.

            

     

      +   Jesus said he can forgive sins.  How do you accept Jesus' forgiveness?  When have you asked Jesus to forgive you?

    

      +   Review for yourself and for your children how to participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.  Plan to attend the Sacrament of Reocnciliation as a family.  Consider making plans for this Lent.

                                            

     +  Discuss these questions:  What can we do to bring forgiveness and healing to the people we love?  How do we as a family continue the healing ministry of Jesus to others, outside our family?
